the emancipation

I was wondering while trotting along on a tar surface with pollution (sound & air), dust, a whole of cars and bikes zooming across each other and trying to beat each other to the start/finish line (wherever it is for them…) what will become of this space. I was thinking, after reading all of the blogging advice floating around this unseen world, lets make money! Kaching kaching…but then the owners of this blog hosting service doesn’t hear that sound going their way, which means not everyone is entitled to have the freedom in what he/she wants (in respect to bloggin here, bt also makes sense in every other way).

So reading around and hearing from people who have established blogs, they host their own blogs! Something new here, i thought. After which, i realised its a payable service, thats where the “kaching’s” sounded like “ermm”. I don’t have the flexibility myself (credit payment methods) so its kinda impossible to assume that flexibility as well. Grunting with disappointment i continue my search to no avail. Then a glimmer of hope appeared, bt as usual i got screwed at the end. It was a free web hosting website providing a sham of a service, couldn’t even log on to the so-called Control Panel where you can (or supposed to be able to…buggers!) do anything with the domain name they provided and so-called 100 MB’s of hard-disk “space”.

With a few comments and very constructive criticism about the layout of this spot on WordPress.com, my first aim is to sort out the current layout and the boring stylissmo applied as you “avidly” 🙂 read here! So keep those comments and generous feedback coming, i appreciate them very much! Sorry if this bored you a lil’, but studying for exams that, interestingly, are in a weeks’ time.

PS. the word emancipation is to be freed from bondage and oppresion, liberating a person from eg. slavery. In some states in the U.S.A., emancipation is a legal process that gives a teenager who is 16 years or older legal independance from his/her parents or guardians. Abraham Lincoln declared the Emancipation Proclamation on 1st January 1863 for all slaves during the Civil War to be made free within those in the rebellious states. Emancipation was also the name of an album by 80’s artist Prince and The Emancipation of Mimi is the 10th album by Mariah Carey which won a Grammy Award in 2006 for “Best Contemporary R&B Album”.

 

Euro Betting & Respiratory Emergencies.

The battle of the Euro 2008 has taken a toll on many of my male batchmates. Late nights in front of the Idiot Box shoutin, supportin, cheerin, jeerin all that come in a form of a fever that spells football. Its sad that the Respiratory Emergencies lecture is gona be nothing near as thrillin as last nights face-offs.

Alright…now what?

I have decided to start this lil’ space on this massive digital lair on this very auspicious day…the auspicious-ness of the day is yet to be known but I guess lets see how far I go and a year from now look back as to what I have achieved by starting this ranting column!

I hear that most artists of all sorts, the “tepi jalan” (no offence, i think you guys are cool, lemme know if there is a way to rephrase that and i shall duly change it!), the playaz (did you know Kanye West blogs 8 times a day?? I’m not sure if he is at his PC/Mac or is his PA or some dude at his promo/advert/marketing firm that has a specific day job to sort his blog out??), politicians (these fellas are heavily campaigning online, using the digital revolution as their weapon of choice “amazing,” i would say, saves a lotta of money but i doubt it actually does referring to the term, money makes the world go around) all have a blog of some kind. Now who else does/has it, many of my friends are on their daily rambling sessions, its nice to read their blogs because it gives an insight on whats going on beneath layers and layers of hidrocarbonic material and proteins as well as many bio-related chemicals and substances ie. their skin and skull which is their brain. At least i have to give it to this guys, their are totally honest at least i presume them to be, compared to the earlier two: artisan playaz and politicians.

So as I embark on something as time-wasting as this, I’ve been wondering what shall i write on and what kinda aspects of topics i should enlighten myself with and share (more like bore) my thoughts with readers of this blllooogg (yes, feel free to exaggerate the word)! If you decide to share your opinions with me, do send me a comment or mail me, would love to hear from you..

PS. The word sayonara is the Japanese word to wish good-bye or if broken up into parts means, thus if it be, indeed. Sayonara was also a movie which stared Marlon Brando in 1957 about an American Air-Force fighter in the Korean War.
